The Mirage LT fly reel was designed to balance perfectly with lighter freshwater rods and provide the same benefits its big brother provides for heavier weight rods. There are times when less is more and the LT is slightly less (less weight and smaller in size) but delivers legendary Mirage engineering and performance. The Mirage LT features a lighter version of the sealed/maintenance-free carbon and stainless-steel disc drag system. It adjusts from zero drag to full drag in a single knob rotation. The LT’s silky-smooth drag has zero start-up inertia which eliminates line shock and protects light tippets yet offers more stopping power than you will ever need for the most hearty freshwater fish. Trout, carp, musky, pike and/or bass will be stopped easily in their tracks. The reel is 30% lighter and 30% more narrow to fit lighter weight rods more precisely while providing the same increased retrieve rates and reduction in line coil as the Mirage.

Mirage LT – Pure Craftsmanship

The Mirage LT is machined from the same strong, yet lightweight, 6061 T6 aluminum barstock as the Mirage and is made in New Hampshire by the same skilled American craftsmen that build the Mirage. The Mirage LT has an ergonomically designed, machined aluminium handle and titanium shaft reducing weight and adding robust power transmission from the reel to the rod. The quick-release spool easily converts from left to right-hand retrieve and the low-profile counterweight won’t bump fingers or catch fly lines. The fully radiused reel foot helps prevent kinked leaders. The Mirage LT is available in midnight with silver accents, olive with silver accents, and red/white/blue. Made in USA.
